Exclusive trade show kick-off: second PSI Product Preview Event connects
A maximum of 100 European promotional product distributors seeking an entrée into the promotional product industry have the opportunity to make an exclusive appointment with the sector on 8 January 2018. Moreover, they can be the first to see the latest innovations on the promotional product market. This will be possible thanks to the second Product Preview Event. It serves as a kick-off for the PSI Trade Show 2018, held in Düsseldorf from 9 to 11 January 2018. At a new location, right on the gallery in the concourse of Entrance Nord, up to 20 selected manufacturers from various product segments will present themselves here to a both exclusive and international group of visitors at this kick-off event.
“The idea behind the Product Preview Event is to introduce promotional product distributors wishing to get a foot in the door in the promotional product network to manufacturers on the look-out for new distributors in other European countries. It is an intense event that offers optimum conditions for successful networking,” explains Event Director Petra Lassahn. There will be some changes to the proceedings compared to the first event in order to optimise the setting for conversations. As a first step the manufacturers will first introduce themselves in a brief talk. These will then be followed by ten-minute meetings each between the exhibitors and visitors allowing participants to go into detail in one-on-one conversations.
To ensure optimum matchmaking visitors will be allocated to exhibitors based on their product interests. In the run-up to the event exhibitors will receive a list of participants so they can come prepared for their visitors. However, time management will also allow meetings beyond this pre-allocation so that each visitor can meet each exhibitor upon request. Participating exhibitors include stationery expert PromoNotes, button and badge maker badge4u, promotional ballpoint pen producer uma Schreibgeräte, elasto form as one of Germany’s biggest promotional product manufacturers, the producer of promotional products for beverage, cosmetics and hygiene sectors SANDERS IMAGETOOLS and Goldstar, producer and finisher of office supplies.
New: workshops in-between the meetings
Also new: visitors who are not involved in a meeting can take part in one of the two 30-minute workshops, repeated five times after 2 pm. One of the topics is: “Want to have! Price does not matter!” This workshop is about creating such a strong desire for a brand that price is no longer an issue – not even for penny pinchers. The second workshop is entitled “Coffee – a Hot Ticket”. Using coffee roaster Van Dyck as an example visitors learn how quality and good marketing make good money.
Who is eligible for participation?
The Product Preview Event especially addresses promotional product distributors and advertising agencies from Europe who are not yet PSI members or have only been part of the Network for less than two years. All conversations and agenda items will be in English. The event will start at 1.00 pm and will be followed by a relaxed get-together at Bar No. 15 at Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre from 6.30 pm.
