The showcase of the promotional products sector: PSI 2018 as the international meeting place of the industry

As Europe’s most important platform for the promotional products industry, the PSI Show will bring all the major industry players to Düsseldorf from 9 to 11 January 2018. Promotional products distributors, agencies and service provides will have a chance to meet face-to-face for three days with well-known international manufacturers and industry newcomers. The focus will be as much on innovations, new trends and application possibilities as on a comprehensive textile range, cutting-edge finishing options and an informative educational programme.

A maximum of 100 European promotional product distributors seeking an entrée into the promotional product industry have the opportunity to make an exclusive appointment with the sector on 8 January 2018. Moreover, they can be the first to see the latest innovations on the promotional product market. This will be possible thanks to the second Product Preview Event. It serves as a kick-off for the PSI Trade Show 2018, held in Düsseldorf from 9 to 11 January 2018.

For years now final users have called for more transparency in terms of manufacturing conditions but also the entire supply chain. 15 companies, products and campaigns have recently been recognised by the 2017 Sustainability Awards 2017 from the PSI, the European Network of the Promotional Products Industry, for their special commitment and sustainable approach.

The promotional products industry is viewing 2017 with optimism. About one in five distributors and suppliers expect sales to increase in the current business year. That’s the finding of the just-published PSI Industry Barometer 1/2017, one of the most comprehensive market studies for the European promotional products industry.

What country has more bicycles than people, is famous for its variety of tulips and cheese, and is also particularly good at selling promotional products? That’s right: the Netherlands. In the latest PSI Industry Barometer, more than 75 per cent of Dutch suppliers said they’re selling more than €10 million worth of ballpoint pens, T-shirts and Co.
