    A sustainable network: PSI celebrates 60th anniversary

    For 60 years the International Network of the Promotional Products Industry has celebrated sustainable business, lasting contacts, trends and innovations – and above all: a strong community. From 7 to 9 January the PSI trade show will be held concurrently with the parallel events viscom and PromoTex Expo for the second time now.

    Combatting global waste with promotional articles

    For Clemens Arnold (2bdifferent), Melissa Streif (Warth und Klein Grant Thornton), and Anja Heidbüchel (Reed Exhibitions Deutschland GmbH), the 5th July was entirely dedicated to examining social and ecological initiatives, sustainable products and campaigns, all created by the promotional product industry. For the first time, all three were part of the 7-strong expert jury which met up on the day to prepare for the PSI Sustainability Awards. After the preliminary round of judging, a total of 74 finalists qualified for the next stage, in which they will be competing for the only sustainability prize currently awarded to the promotional product industry, which also happens to be celebrating its fifth anniversary this year. The winners of the competition will be announced in the magnificent surroundings of the Wiesbaden Kurhaus on 6th September. Once again, the PSI Sustainability Summit will provide the prelude to the industry’s sustainability day.

    PSI Sustainability Awards 2019: apply by 30 May the latest

    The promotional products industry focuses ever more strongly on the three pillars of sustainability: economy, ecology and social matters. PSI, the international network of the promotional products industry, has documented and promoted this commitment with the PSI Sustainability Awards since 2015. This year sees the only sustainability awards in this industry being presented for the fifth time now – but with an extended participation procedure and over 260 companies that were already pre-nominated as a result of this.

    Final Report PSI 2019: Successful premiere of the world of advertising and selling

    One visit, all the perks – a brilliant idea, well received. Featuring a total of 1,084 exhibiting companies, the new trade show network consisting of PSI, PromoTex Expo and viscom underscored its ambition of becoming Europe’s largest combined event for advertising and selling. More than half of the exhibitors came from outside Germany, representing a total of 38 countries.

    Successful Premiere of PSI Sustainability Summit 2018

    Climate change, resource shortage, greenwashing: sustainability is a word on everyone’s lips but it is far from being a mainstream topic. This became clear at the PSI Sustainability Summit on 7 September – a new platform for exchange between the promotional products industry, which is increasingly dealing with this issue, and representatives from private businesses. With over 50 participants from the promotional products industry the summit served as a successful kick-off for the fourth presentation of the PSI Sustainability Awards, the only sustainability prize in this industry.
