The recent second PSI Industry Barometer clearly shows that this trend is set to gain in strength in the future. With the PSI Sustainability Awards, the PSI is now providing/offering an objective quality control for seals and certificates in the promotional products industry.

It will be more sustainable, stronger on textiles and packed with industry know-how: Six months before it is due to start, PSI 2016 is already beginning to take concrete shape. In 2016, the leading European trade show of the promotional products industry will place strong emphasis on the issues of sustainability and transfer of knowledge. At the same time, textiles will be the central theme.

With the new PSI Sustainability Awards launching in autumn 2015, the Promotional Product Service Institute (PSI) will offer reliable proof of sustainability in the industry.

Düsseldorf. A small increase that hints at major hidden developments and a stable visitor count – that’s the best way to summarise the outcome of this year’s PSI. That’s because there’s a lot more to the 2% increase than is immediately apparent: for the first time in two years, nearly all the top international companies attended PSI again. They helped to define the show’s look and feel across the four exhibition halls.

VW, Tassimo, Bastei Lübbe, Maserati and Porsche: once again in 2014, major brands counted on using promotional products in their ad campaigns. In part, these served as valuable customer loyalty and acquisition tools. Once a year, the “PSI – Campaign of the Year Award” honours the best campaigns that incorporate one or more promotional products as central components of the campaign concept. Twelve entrants were nominated this year.
