Innovative products are the core of the promotional products industry. Reason enough to showcase, for the fourth time, another 50 exclusive product premieres at the PSI Institute – Competence Area in Hall 9 at the next PSI Show in January. Manufacturers have until 31 October to apply for the exclusive PSI FIRST Club, which provides them with the perfect opportunity to roll out their products to an international trade audience. Each debuting product will be automatically nominated for the People’s Choice Award. Then, at PSI 2017, it’ll be up to visitors to determine the award winner by voting for their favourites.

Optimising processes, services and products, protecting the environment and creating fair working conditions: the PSI Sustainability Awards 2016 show how the promotional products industry is effectuating all this. They also show how the industry is taking its own initiative on this issue and how the promotional product can be used as a product or part of a sustainability campaign.

“Wednesday to Friday” is turning into “Tuesday to Thursday”: PSI, Europe’s most important promotional products industry trade show, will take place on new days of the week from now on. In 2017, the kick-off event for the upcoming promotional products year is scheduled to take place in Düsseldorf from Tuesday, 10 January, to Thursday, 12 January.

Walter Medien, Kahla Thüringen Porzellan, Brand Addition, Halfar System, uma Schreibgeräte, Fair Squared and Michael Schiffer Promotion – these were the big winners at the first PSI Sustainability Awards presented in autumn 2015. And now the international sustainability awards of the promotional products industry – presented by the PSI Network – are entering the second round. Starting right now, PSI members and non-members can enter their products, campaigns or companies online. The application deadline is 15 May.

New features, new unique traits, new application options: three promotional products stood out in 2016 as visitor favourites at the Leading European Trade Show of the Promotional Products Industry, which took place in Düsseldorf from 13 to 15 January. They, along with 47 other products, were launched to the promotional products markets as exclusive product innovations during the PSI FIRST showcase of premieres.

PSI FIRST participants generate ideas that provide the industry with innovative solutions to successfully communicate their advertising messages in 2016. We’ve already introduced 40 companies. Now, just ahead of PSI – the Leading European Trade Show of the Promotional Products Industry in Düsseldorf from 13 to 15 January – we’re presenting the remaining ten companies participating in the new-products event. All of these promotional products experts will showcase unique, never-before-seen additions to their product ranges.

he umbrella association of the German promotional product industry (GWW) speaks out in favour of a target group extension for PSI – Leading European Trade Show of the Promotional Product Industry. A corresponding concept worked out by the GWW working party for trade fairs "Arbeitskreis Messen" was submitted to the General Assembly of the umbrella organisation in Berlin on 16 December. According to this resolution from 2017 the PSI Trade Show is to give promotional product consultants the opportunity to invite their customers to the closing day of the PSI Show.
