    New promotional products magazine for the industry: IMPACT

    Branded ballpoint pens, T-shirts & Co. are remembered for a long time: after getting a promotional product, a whopping 78 per cent of recipients will recall the brand or company name of the giver, according to a 2014 study by GWW, the umbrella association of the German Promotional Products Industry. Surprisingly high advertising impact? When they read IMPACT, advertising companies will find out everything they should know about promotional products and their diversity, impact and deployment options. The new magazine for promotional products agencies and marketing executives of German-speaking industry enterprises will be published by the PSI, the international network of the promotional products industry, with the first issue set to come out on 6 December 2016.

    Global PSI visitors: Long journeys for the perfect promotional product

    As the crow flies, it’s about 5,600 kilometres from Ethiopia to Düsseldorf. It’s 8,760 kilometres from South Korea, 9,228 kilometres from Brazil and a whopping 16,500 kilometres from Sydney, Australia. Promotional products professionals from every corner of the globe are drawn to Düsseldorf each January, when the Leading European Trade Show of the Promotional Products Industry opens its doors for three days. This is where the industry presents new products, developing trends and the bestsellers in its assortment. Plus, it’s the place to meet all the industry’s key players and newcomers under one roof. Trade show preparations for PSI are kicking into high gear, with the event set to be held in Düsseldorf again from 10 to 12 January 2017. Travel plans are already being made worldwide.

    Premiere: PSI Product Preview Event to kick off PSI Show 2017

    An exclusive speed-dating event will be held just ahead of the PSI Show 2017. For the first time ever, selected top exhibitors will present their new products to about 100 international promotional products distributors in an exclusive setting the day before the start of PSI. Taking place at the Wintergarten venue at the Congress Center Düsseldorf (CCD) on 9 January 2016, the PSI Product Preview Event will serve to kick off PSI, the Leading European Trade Show of the Promotional Products Industry, which will be held in Düsseldorf from 10 to 12 January 2017.

    The diversity of promotional products is reflected by one figure: 2,366 – the number of different product groups showcased at the PSI trade show every year. Diversity you simply have to see for yourself to appreciate. On Thursday, 12 January 2017, industrial customers will be given the first opportunity ever at the PSI trade show (10 – 12 January) in Düsseldorf to convince themselves that promotional products are so much more than just ballpoint pens and mugs. On the last day of the trade show PSI promotional product consultants will now have the chance to invite their customers to PSI 2017 allowing them to see the vast variety of the advertising tools that are “promotional products”. The interest taken in including this target group is huge.

    PSI 2017: More space, more time, more diversity

    It’s nearly sold out, even though it’s bigger both in terms of space and exhibitors. We expanded special areas, introduced a new communication tool that makes everyday trade show activities easier and already registered several hundred customers for the first Industry Customer Day. With that, PSI 2017, which will take place from Tuesday, 10 January, to Thursday, 12 January, is already emerging as a very promising event three months ahead of its start.
