    And the People’s Choice Awards goes to…: the Winners of the PSI FIRST Club 2017

    Visitors looking for innovations from the promotional products industry at the leading international trade show for promotional products were spoilt for choice in Düsseldorf from 10 to 12 January 2017. Here a total of 50 product premieres were presented as part of the PSI FIRST Club 2017.

    Final Report PSI 2017

    So much for being 55 and showing your age. With six per cent more exhibitors, nearly eight per cent more visitors and a share of international visitors that’s climbed to 57 per cent, PSI continued its growth trajectory and once again posted new records at the 55th event. In total, organiser Reed Exhibitions Deutschland counted 988 exhibitors (prior year: 932) and 18,094 visitors (prior year: 16,810).

    Continued Growth: Just under 1,000 Exhibitors at PSI 2017

    The promotional products industry continues to grow: approximately two thirds of the suppliers and distributors posted sales growth for 2016. A positive development is also expected over the next five years. The Industry Barometer 2/2016 published in November 2016 provides current market data and PSI 2017 is a true reflection of this. With about 1000 exhibitors from almost 40 nations the PSI trade show impressively underscores its role as Europe’s leading trade show for the promotional products industry. Following a change in show days, the Leading European Trade Show of the Promotional Products Industry will now run in Düsseldorf from Tuesday, 10 to Thursday, 12 January.

    Online networking made easy: PSI Matchmaking Tool goes into second round in 2017

    Immediately finding the right business partners – at the most recent PSI, it worked out more than 400 times thanks to the convenient online matchmaking tool. Following its successful introduction in 2016, the tool will be deployed for the second time at PSI in Düsseldorf from 10 to 12 January 2017. With a month still to go before the start of the trade show, some 500 requests for exhibitor-visitor meetings have already been submitted.

    The top sellers of the promotional products industry: Textiles at PSI 2017

    Textiles are easy to like; they convey an image and create an identity. The highest sales in the promotional products industry, among suppliers and distributors alike, are generated by promotional textiles, according to the findings of the current Industry Barometer 2/2016. At PSI in Düsseldorf from 10 to 12 January 2017, trade visitors will learn everything they need to know about the deployment of textiles in the marketing mix. The Textile Area in Hall 10 – the show’s centrepiece for textiles – is the first point of contact for trade visitors interested in T-shirts and related products.

    Complete programme for the Industry Customer Day on Thursday: Best Practice Forum at PSI 2017

    There’s lots to see and experience at trade shows. PSI, the Leading European Trade Show of the Promotional Products Industry, is no exception. For the first time ever, advertising agencies and marketing executives from German-speaking industry companies will be able in 2017 to attend PSI to see and experience promotional products and their diversity. Upon being invited by their PSI promotional products consultant, they can attend the show on 12 January. During their visit, they should not miss any of the information offered, which on that day is targeted in part at industry companies. The all-day Best Practice Forum in Hall 9 will deliver information on promotional products deployment, selection tips, and best practices to make the next campaign a success.

    New promotional products magazine for the industry: IMPACT

    Branded ballpoint pens, T-shirts & Co. are remembered for a long time: after getting a promotional product, a whopping 78 per cent of recipients will recall the brand or company name of the giver, according to a 2014 study by GWW, the umbrella association of the German Promotional Products Industry. Surprisingly high advertising impact? When they read IMPACT, advertising companies will find out everything they should know about promotional products and their diversity, impact and deployment options. The new magazine for promotional products agencies and marketing executives of German-speaking industry enterprises will be published by the PSI, the international network of the promotional products industry, with the first issue set to come out on 6 December 2016.
